Long Distance Dedication is another album from Taung Child. Begun in late 2019 with the portending “Hellfire,” the album originated with tracks and demos being sent between Austin and Portland with the intention of live recording in the Spring of 2020. Alas the world caught fire and so the trading of demos became the recording of a new collection of songs. Collaborations reached from Oregon to Texas to South Dakota to New York and connected bandmates from several decades.
